Frank J. Backitis, Jr., has been an appointed and commissioned Notary Public for the State of Florida since early 2017. Before moving to Florida, he was a commissioned Notary Public in the State of South Carolina as well. He is a member of the American Society of Notaries, and actively mentors and assists less experienced Notaries Public. Being a Notary is a matter of honor and pride to Frank, and is the way he feels to best serve the public after having been a Emergency Medical Technican and a Firefighter (both in South Carolina).
He recognizes and understands that, as an appointed and commissioned Notary Public, he is a public officer for the state with significant duties and obligations as a result. For him, providing notarial services is not a "side hustle" for earning extra cash. His day job as a Senior Manager for a major global consulting and professional services organization allows him to provide for his family. As a result, the fees and charges for providing notarial services are set to just cover expenses, supplies, and ongoing activities.
Frank is happily married (for over 33 years), and has a son who will be attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In addition to being a Notary Public, he is also an Amateur Radio Operator (callsign KM4RB), focused on the area of emergency communications, and is a trained Skywarn weather spotter.
Discounts are available for military (active duty, veterans, and families), law enforcement, first responders, and other groups.
